MOOD - BOARD SYNOPSIS After his graduation from university Robert moves out of the dorm to his girl-friend's apartment. Now things could actually get started! But facing his professional future Robert starts feeling completely unable to cope with it. While his girlfriend Betty goes to work every day, Robert doesn't even manage to apply for any jobs. Being scared of having to argue with Betty and fearing the outside world, he starts hiding in an alcove in the common apartment. From there he begins to dig bit by bit and creating a tunnel system. In the chambers and rooms of his subterrestrial world he starts to accomodate people who are in need for a place to stay. One of his lodgers is Hagen, who is unruly and avid for power. But even though Hagen is making Robert's life difficult, there is one thing that he fears the most: that one day Betty will discover his den.
